This has to be one of Preminger's weaker efforts because the acting was tough to watch. The actors are all known to be very good, but it's clear the direction is what made it tough to watch. Maybe the editor is partly to blame here as well. It's too bad because I like the story and the production overall.

What ever Lola wants... well, she gets.

Classic midnight horror film about a blob that slowly terrorizes a town, even Steve McQueen.

A Newman and Woodward love story that's neither one's strongest performance in a very basic film.

The usually spot-on Cary Grant can't quite pull off being a jerk and an uncaring father but an early performance from Loren, and even the kids, make this an enjoyable affair.

Maurice Chevalier singing 'Thank Heaven for Little Girls' gets creepier every time I hear it, see it, or think about it.

Perhaps the best take on the sinking of the Titanic, until that James Cameron film came out forty years later.
